If you were to make a survey of successful traders in the world, the vast majority will tell you that they base their decisions on trade just looking at the price of each currency pair. No fancy tricks or gimmicks. They can see the movement of prices as a leading indicator to let them know what the future holds for the market price. Throughout the history of investing and trading, if a trader can trade in the market only pure price action, then you can safely say that true understanding of the market.
If you see a sales page with a trading system covered stochastics, MACDs, etc. .. How can you honestly say that the seller can call yourself a legitimate trader. He is all these so-called tools to interpret the market, when they could not interpret it themselves.
