Sidus Method

Sidus MethodThe biggest advantage of the Sidus Method is that it is not necessary for adding extra filters. Whipsaws will occor, but less frequent. This system made my trading very profitable as it easy to understand, easy to implement and easy to find the right entry-points.

Indicators
1H (of 30MIN, but you will get wore whipsaws) candlesticks/bar charts
18 EMA & 28 EMA (put them in red)
5 WMA (in blue) & 8 WMA (in yellow)

Recommended Pairs
EUR/GBP
EUR/USD

Basic Rules
  • Long term : The 18 EMA & 28 EMA are two red lines who form a tunnel, these will help you to determine the start of a trend and the end of a trend.
  • Short term : The WMA & 8 WMA will show you when to enter a trend, they will also help you to see the strenght of the trends.
Entry Signals
  • Open LONG : 5 WMA & 8 WMA cross the red tunnel upwards, if the 5 WMA also crosses the 8 WMA upwards, then the signal is extra strong.
  • Open SHORT : 5 WMA & 8 WMA cross the red tunnel downwards, if the 5 WMA also crosses the 8 WMA downwards, then the signal is extra strong.
Nb: You should only open a position, when the red tunnel is extremely narrow or crossed.

Exit Signals
Signals that show the end of the chosen trend:
  • Close Long : The price has reached a top and 5 WMA dives under 8 WMA.
  • Close Short : The price has reached a bottom and 5 WMA jumps above 8 WMA.
sidus-method_egAlways close your position when boundry’s of the red tunnel cross each other or when they become so narrow that they are one. This is a clear sign of a trend reversal. After you see this, close your position and open a new postion in the other way (If you were long, close, open a short postion).

When in a trade and the 5 WMA & 8 WMA cross the red tunnel -> Pay attention...! As long as the red tunnel boundry’s doesn’t cross each other there is no problem, but often this is a sign that they will. Enter a position were the red tunnel boundry’s cross and exit that position when they cross again.
Warning : Always use a stop loss - it's recommended a 10-15 pips stop loss.

Correlation in Market Condition

Correlation in Market Condition
Day traders are always looking for correlation in other markets or indicators to give them an edge. It’s not easy when there are lots of data and techniques out there to choose from. Those that are out there simply work in one market but not in others while more work at one type of market condition. Many day traders use the typical broad currency market to view the sentiment and trend of the markets to gauge the influence they have on the individuals they monitor and trade. This helps see the tendency of the market to swerve one way versus another. Others use to gain a tiny milliseconds to see ahead of what others cannot see, so this aids in understanding what the big boys are thinking and doing.

Support and Resistance with Murrey Math Lines

The main advantage to Murrey Math is that you know with one piece of information ( the current price ) what to judge the price behavior with. This is because the support/resistance prices are Fixed and remain the same.

Murreymath System
Murrey Math Lines Properties
8/8 th's and 0/8 th's Lines (Ultimate Resistance)
These lines are the hardest to penetrate on the way up, and give the greatest support on the way down. (Prices may never make it thru these lines).

7/8 th's Lines (Weak, Stall and Reverse)
This line is weak. If prices run up too far too fast, and if they stall at this line they will reverse down fast. If prices do not stall at this line they will move up to the 8/8 th's line.

6/8 th's and 2/8 th's Lines (Pivot, Reverse)
These two lines are second only to the 4/8 th's line in their ability to force prices to reverse. This is true whether prices are moving up or down.

5/8 th's Lines (Top of Trading Range)
The prices of all entities will spend 40% of the time moving between the 5/8 th's and 3/8 th's lines. If prices move above the 5/8 th's line and stay above it for 10 to 12 days, the entity is said to be selling at a premium to what one wants to pay for it and prices will tend to stay above this line in the "premium area". If, however, prices fall below the 5/8 th's line then they will tend to fall further looking for support at a lower level.

4/8 th's Lines (Major Support/Resistance)
This line provides the greatest amount of support and resistance. This line has the greatest support when prices are above it and the greatest resistance when prices are below it. This price level is the best level to sell and buy against.

3/8 th's Lines (Bottom of Trading Range)
If prices are below this line and moving upwards, this line is difficult to penetrate. If prices penetrate above this line and stay above this line for 10 to 12 days then prices will stay above this line and spend 40% of the time moving between this line and the 5/8 th's line.

1/8 th Lines (Weak, Stall and Reverse)
This line is weak. If prices run down too far too fast, and if they stall at this line they will reverse up fast. If prices do not stall at this line they will move down to the 0/8 th's line.

EURUSD, USDCHF and GBPUSD.

Indicators
EMA 50
EMA 120
Hist_Step_MA_Stoch_KV1_Ex_03
FiboPiv
Catfx50
TSR (Daily Range Calculator)

Buy
  1. When price crosses EMA 50 and new candle opens above, Hist_StepMA_Stoch must be Green.
  2. Price opens one candle at least below EMA 50 and Hist_StepMA_Stoch keeps in Green mode. When price opens again above EMA 50 with Hist_StepMA_Stoch validating Green mode.
  3. Trend in bullish mode, price above EMA 50 and Hist_StepMA_Stoch in Green. Suddenly, price goes down crossing or without crossing EMA 50 and obviously without opening below it. Hist_StepMA_Stoch changes to red, and price goes up again validated by Hist_StepMA_Stoch change to Green again.
  4. After a consolidation of a few candle, breaks through the last high or low, and Hist_StepMa_Stoch in Green mode.

Sell
  1. When price crosses EMA 50 and new candle opens below. Hist_StepMA_Stoch must be Red.
  2. Price opens one candle at least below EMA 50 and Hist_StepMA_Stoch keeps in Red mode. When price opens again above EMA 50 with Hist_StepMA_Stoch validating Red mode.
  3. Trend in bullish mode, price below EMA 50 and Hist_StepMA_Stoch in Red. Suddenly, price goes down crossing or without crossing EMA 50 and obviously without opening above it. Hist_StepMA_Stoch changes to green, and price goes down again validated by Hist_StepMA_Stoch change to Red again.
  4. After a consolidation of a few candle, breaks through the last high or low, and Hist_StepMa_Stoch in Red mode.
Hist_StepMA_Stoch is the main indicator. If Hist_StepMA_Stoch and Catfx50 give signal simultaneously are better. Do not trade if they give opposite signals. When candle opens more than 20 pips above/below EMA 50, the signal is riskier.
